CAMP MARECELO A. ADDURU, Tuguegarao City – Brigadier General Percival Antolin Rumbaoa has formally assumed his post as the new regional director of Police Regional Office-Region 2 on Monday, Dec. 19.
BGen. Rumbaoa replaced BGen. Steve B. Ludan who relinquished his position after reaching the mandatory age of retirement from the PNP service.
No less than Philippine National Police Chief General Rodolfo S. Azurin, Jr. presided over the turnover of command ceremony on Monday.
The PNP Chief lauded the outgoing Regional Director for his excellent leadership.
BGen. Ludan thanked the PNP Chief, other PNP officials for the recognition, trust and confidence bestowed him which paved the way toward getting the rare opportunity to take the helm of PRO2.
He also thanked the entire Valley Cops family for the all-out support during his stint as Regional Director.
"Ang Police Regional Office 2 ay naging isang masayang tahanan para sa akin,” said Ludan.
“Dito din magtatapos ang isa sa pinakamahalagang yugto ng aking buhay, masaya ako na bago magsara ang kurtina ng aking entablado bilang isang pulis, nakasama ko ang mga Valley Cops. Maraming salamat sa mainit ninyong pag tanggap at suporta sa akin at sa aking mga kasama,” added Ludan.
Meanwhile, the newly installed Regional Director assured Gen Azurin Jr that he will work hard, exert more effort in order to sustain and improve the public safety services being rendered to the people of Cagayan Valley through the security framework: ‘MKK=K’ and the ‘KASIMBAYANAN’ program.
"I am committed to pursue these programs and adhere with the current thrust of President Bong Bong Marcos, the peace and security and anti-criminality programs currently implemented by the Chief PNP," the new PRO2 regional director said.
