The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said it was expecting about 57 million passengers to troop to the various seaports across the country, while the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) disclosed that about 3.5 million will be using the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals during the holidays.

Meanwhile, five policemen, who were alleged to have been involved in the kidnapping of an online “sabong” agent in San Pablo City, Laguna, in August last year, were ordered dismissed by the Philippine National Police (PNP).
