House yearend report shows 1,150 processed bills, resolutions
One thousand one hundred and fifty.

That's how many bills and resolutions the House of Representatives was able to process in 41 session days from July 25 to Dec. 15, 2022, according to House Majority Leader and Zamboanga City 2nd district Rep. Mannix Dalipe's report to House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
As per the yearend report, the lower chamber managed to process an average of 28 measures per session day.
Dalipe said that, out of the total 7,402 measures filed in the House in the current 19th Congress, 6,716 were House bills; 685 were resolutions; and 263 were committee reports.
He said the chamber approved 173 bills on third and final reading, passed 21 measures on second reading, and adopted 43 resolutions.
The adopted resolutions by the House plenary include Concurrent Resolution No. 2, which supported the 2022-2028 Medium Term Fiscal Framework of the Marcos administration. This was the first ever resolution adopted by the body.
“The focused and compassionate leadership of Speaker Martin Romualdez and the teamwork and cooperation of our colleagues helped the House of Representatives in pushing the Malacañang’s legislative agenda,” Dalipe said.

He also hailed the hardworking House officials, secretariat, and other employees who have been helping the House leadership in shepherding the approval of pro-people priority legislations that cater to their needs, especially in these challenging and difficult times.
The House majority leader also noted that Romualdez has authorized all standing and special committees to hold hearings during the congressional break to “continue with our mandate of producing vital pieces of legislation".
The solons' holiday break will last five weeks from from Dec. 17 to Jan. 22, 2023.
Dalipe chairs the powerful House Committee on Rules.
