Bring out the JBL PartyBox Encore to brighten up the holiday

We have a neighbor who had videoke parties every Friday night. I’m sure some of you can relate. It’s a small and friendly neighborhood, so everyone pretty much lets it slide. What’s a little fun now and then, right? Still, they could get really loud. So, about two weeks ago, I brought home the JBL PartyBox Encore for review. The entire family only looked at each other, collectively thinking the same thing: At last, we will have revenge. 

The JBL PartyBox Encore is a portable speaker that has a powerful output. The sound quality is mighty impressive and packs a serious punch. Every note and tune is heard in full clarity, even the breath of the artists sighing in the background could be heard, which adds to the whole vibe to the music. 

The simple black boxed design makes the PartyBox Encore a fine piece of decoration in your living room, ready whenever you want to start to play some music. The cube design also features a handle right above it, for portability. 

I’ve always been a fan of the RGB lights that come with JBL speakers, specifically the Pulse series. The PartyBox Encore sports the same brilliant lights and syncs to the music’s beat. It's great for building ambiance when the room’s lights are off. 

Two wireless microphones and batteries are included from the box, which was a nice addition. You can set up your own little portable karaoke. The Encore features up to 10 hours of battery, so take it to the beach or to a resort, or have it blast in full on the highway if your car speakers are not enough.

The Encore is IPX4, making it splashproof. So rest assured you can put the Encore by the poolside where everyone can hang out. 

The Encore paired well with both Android and iOS devices. The volume dial and other controls can be found up on the top as large rubbery buttons. The rear features additional connections that would allow you to enhance your sound experience. Also, in case one Encore is not enough, two Encores can work together seamlessly to tear down the house.

We’re not saying the JBL PartyBox Encore would entice even the most diehard audiophiles out there. But the Encore delivers more than a satisfying experience for people who want a portable speaker with a loud and impressive sound performance.
