Actor Andrew Schimmer emotional as wife passes away: 'Hindi siya inabutan ng bunso namin'

Jorhomy “Jho” Rovero, wife of actor Andrew Schimmer, has passed away, it was announced on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Schimmer announced her demise in a video posted on Facebook.

Rovero has been confined at the hospital for several months now after she suffered from severe asthma that led to cardiac arrest and hypoxemia.

On Facebook, Schimmer shared a photo of his hand holding his wife's hand. It was captioned: "The Love of my Life…my wife..my best friend.. my partner in everything. Remember your promise, together forever."

An emotional Schimmer said that he was taping for the game show "Family Feud" on GMA Network when informed about his wife's deteriorating condition.

Schimmer cancelled his taping and rushed to the hospital.

"They did everything they could. Masakit lang. Gusto ko lang ibalita sa inyo. Guys, maraming salamat sa mga nagdasal. Ang sakit lang kasi birthday ng bunso namin mamaya," the actor said. "Hindi siya inabutan ng bunso namin."

Schimmer then showed his dead wife to his followers on social media lying on bed. He said that he will update his followers. "Huwag po kayong mag-alala. Lahat po kayo bibigyan ko ng pagkakataon na makita siya. Yun lang po muna. Thank you."
