People are still speculating on the root cause of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana’s split.

The internet has a thousand reasons for it.

Among these is that Tom is actually gay and Carla found out about it only after their marriage.

But is he really?

Tom haven’t confirmed or denied the same until recently.

In Ogie Diaz’s vlog, the actor came out to make clear he is not gay as alleged.

Not that he minds that people think of him as such.

He said, “That’s not an insult to me. Most of the best people I know happen to be of that persuasion. So I don’t mind hearing it.”

He added, “It’s not the truth but it doesn’t bother me.”

“It’s up to them if they believe me or not but personally I don’t care.”

 Tom was game enough to answer another conjecture: That he got entangled with another girl while married to Carla.

The actor denied it by saying simply, “Wala.”

With that out, what exactly was it that broke the camel’s back so to speak?

Tom is not eager to share details.

If anything he offered, “I have my mistakes. Siguro hindi yung mga binibintang sa akin per se but I have (done) things that I have to (hold myself) accountable for.”

“May mga mali ako na kinailangan kong pagbayaran, at pinagbayaran ko.”

Asked if he still loves Carla, Tom was quick to answer.

“Of course. Hindi naman agad agad mawawala yun.”
