The Quezon City government announced on Friday, Dec. 2, that it will open a zipper lane to fix the flow of traffic along Elliptical Road going to Quezon Avenue.
The dry-run for the usage of the zipper lane on Quezon Avenue (westbound) lane will start on Saturday, Dec. 3.
It will be open for motorists Mondays to Fridays, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
According to the city government, the Quezon Avenue zipper lane will start from its entrance in front of the Lung Center of the Philippines and Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife.
The exit will be the U-turn slot in front of the Providence Hospital.
It said motorists should follow the traffic enforcers from the QC Traffic and Transport Management Department and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority assigned along the lane, as well as the traffic signages.
