The Nayong Pilipino Foundation launched its newest eco-tourism destination at Seaside Drive in Parañaque's Entertainment City on Sunday, Dec 18.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the opening ceremony of the Nayong Pilipino Bike and Nature Park Trail City and said that the new nature park and bike trail will boost the eco-tourism industry in the city.
“We welcome the opening of the Nayong Pilipino Bike and Nature Park Trail, and we are glad to be a part of this very beautiful attraction that would put us on the map as a major destination for nature lovers and bike enthusiasts,” Olivarez said.
The mayor added that the early morning event was attended by bikers who cycled from the New Seaside Drive to Macapagal Boulevard, to try out the new bike trail.
Accompanying Mayor Olivarez were City Administrator Atty. Voltaire de la Cruz, Department of Tourism (DOT) officers, members of the Nayong Pilipino Foundation, and the Pasay City Alliance of Tourism Advocates (PCATA).
