DICT equips teaching, non-teaching personnel in Caraga through digital technical training

A total of 53 teaching and non-teaching staff from Surigao City and Butuan City have benefitted from the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) free 36-hour digital technical training.

“ successfully completed the 36-hour Digital Jobs Technical Training with the course ‘Graphics Design Using Canva.’ The first batch was conducted at the Caraga Regional Science High School, Surigao City Dec. 5 Dec. 9” said DICT Caraga on Monday, Dec. 19.

“he second batch was conducted at the DICT Agusan del Norte Training Center Butuan City, Dec. 12 Dec. 16,” it furthered.

The 36-hour training was an initiative of the DICT, but it was a collaborative work of the Department of Education, Caraga Regional Science High School, ACLC College of Butuan, as well as Merchant Marine Academy of Caraga Inc.

Meanwhile, as stressed by the department, the skills that the teaching and non-teaching personnel have gained may be used in their “respective offices.” They may also incorporate it into their curricula to educate their students.
