CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- The Central Luzon police force will continue to be on its toes to secure the entire region during the celebration of holiday season.
Police Regional Office 3 Director BGen. Cesar Pasiwen made the assurance as he directed all the city and provincial police directors to continuously conduct police focused operations under the ‘IMPLAN 17/2022’ Ligtas Paskuhan 2022.’
Pasiwen also told the police force to sustain the level of alertness and vigilance being required under Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO).
Meanwhile, security inspections and police presence have been intensified in all bus terminals, airports and places of convergence such as malls and places of worship.
Stringent anti-criminality information drive as well as strict implementation of community quarantine and minimum health standard protocols are also being carried out in commercial business areas as part of its proactive measures to complement its operations.
As early as December 16, 2022, Police Assistance Desks manned by Philippine National Police personnel were put in place. These assistance desks covering all transport terminals, business and commercial establishments and places of worship are not only to ensure public safety and order, but also to provide public assistance to missing persons.
Force multipliers such as volunteer groups, private security guards and government security forces have also been tapped as partners to enhance security coverage in the communities.
Overall, more than 2,000 PNP personnel are being deployed together with force multipliers for the duration of the holidays.
