Operatives of the Navotas City Police Station (NCPS) seized a total of P394,400 worth of alleged shabu and arrested a man and a woman in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay NBBS Dagat-dagatan, Navotas City on Saturday evening, Dec. 17.
Col. Dexter Ollaging, NCPS chief, identified the suspects as Jomari Amaro, 27, and Jennifer Rivera, 36, both from Caloocan City.
The NCPS Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) lauched the entrapment operation against the suspects along Kanduli St., Brgy. NBBS Dagat-Dagatan at around 9:24 p.m. on Saturday, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Police confiscated around 58 grams of alleged shabu worth P394,400, a black belt-bag, and the buy-bust money from the suspects.
Amaro and Rivera will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
