Sara wishes Filipinos a meaningful Christmas

Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday said she hopes that Filipinos will have a meaningful celebration of Christmas despite all challenges being faced.

In an advanced video greeting posted on her Facebook account, Duterte said "we are one in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ."

While she said that Filipinos have different faith, aspiration, dream and love for each other, she hoped that Christmas celebration will remain meaningful.

"At sana ay magpatuloy tayo sa pagiging matatag para sa ating mga sarili, para sa ating mga pamilya, at para sa ating bansa (May we continue being strong for ourselves, our family and our country)," she added.

She then hoped for a peaceful, happy and progressive New Year.

"Maligayang pasko sa inyong lahat... Patuloy nating mahalin ang Pilipinas (Merry Christmas to all you. Let's continue loving the Philippines)," she added.
