Grocery items and food packs including pansit, chicken, and rice were distributed to the individuals in a gift-giving program last Dec. 13, said PRC.

PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon expressed his gratitude to BancNet for sharing their blessings with the residents of Tondo.

"I hope that we may continue to strengthen our partnership in this kind of activity so we can reach and help more people," he added.

PRC Manila Chapter also conducted parlor games for the children and mobilized its ambulance, food truck, staff, and volunteers for the event.

"Nagpapasalamat kami sa Philippine Red Cross sa inyong isinagawang pamamahagi ng pamasko at sa ating sponsor na BancNet. Very thankful ang aming barangay dahil napili ninyo kami. Majority ng aming community ay mga ISF o Informal Settlers at mga pamilya na apektado pa ng pandmeya. Hindi pa sila nakakabangon mula sa pandemya kaya ngayon ay malaking tulong ito sa kanila (We thank the Philippine Red Cross for their Christmas gift and also our sponsor, BancNet. Our barangay is very thankful because you chose us. Majority of our community are ISF or Informal Settlers and families that are still affected by the pandemic. They have not yet recovered from the pandemic so this is a big help to them)," said Isla Puting Bato Barangay Chairman Bryan Mondejar.
