Known for its powerhouse actors and actresses, Star Magic marks a new journey by providing new talents across the country.
What started as a simple workshop in 2020, Star Magic and AMP Studios Canada have finally opened doors for aspiring Filipino-Canadian artists to expand their skills in performing arts.
Spearheaded by director Rahyan Carlos, the official partnership also features AMP Studio Canada executives Rechelle Everden and Chalen Lazerna.
During the zoom press conference on Dec.14, director Rahyan shared that the artists from Canada will also get the same training from artists in the Philippines.
"Yung binibigay namin na training sa canada is what we're giving our artists in Star Magic. So they will experience an intensive training that we're doing with our own actors in ABS-CBN," Rahyan shared.

Through his process of the Chubbuck Technique, the students will undergo intensive training for singing and acting which will culminate in a recital at the end of the program.
Award-winning artists Ice Seguerra will be having a special performance during the recital while his partner, Liza Diño-Seguerra, will be doing a monologue.
"Thank you so much for supporting this initiative of Star Magic to globalize the kind of training that we can offer not just for our local film industry but also for Filipinos all over the world," Liza shared.
The partnership between AMP Studios Canada and Star Magic Workshop aims to train and discover talents to help them become world-class artists in their own fields of expertise.
