Sandro reacts to 93% performance rating

Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos is thankful for being named one of the top-rated solons in the Ilocos region.

"Thank you to my kakailian for the support. A lot more to do but it’s encouraging to know we’re heading in the right direction. Mabuhay po kayo! " Marcos wrote in a Facebook post Thursday, Dec. 15.

On the same post, Marcos shared the results of a survey carried out by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD), which indicated the overall performance ratings of district representatives for the year 2022.

The results showed that the presidential son was statically tied with Deputy Speaker and Ilocos Sur 2nd district Rep. Kristine Singson-Meehan with 93 percent, which is the highest rating among the regions' congressmen.

Marcos, 28, is a senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives. He is a first-time House member.

The RPMD survey was conducted from Nov. 27 to Dec. 2, 2022 on every district in every region of the country, with a total of 10,000 respondents from each region.
