Fire hits building in Novaliches, QC

A fire broke out in a one-storey commercial and residential building on Susano Road, Brgy. San Agustin Novaliches, Quezon City on Wednesday, Dec. 14.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire was raised to first alarm at around 11:54 p.m. and was declared under control at around 12:28 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15.

The Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) said the fire caused around P75,000 damage to property. No one was hurt during the incident.

The number of families affected is still being determined by the authorities.

The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation, the QCFD said.
