BATANGAS CITY – Seven policemen have benefited from the Project Blue Line Christmas Caroling project launched by the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) to provide assistance to policemen killed and wounded in the line of duty in the province.
Members of the project initiated by Batangas police director Col. Pedro Soliba visited on Tuesday, Dec. 13, the families of the late Corporal Reynan Manalo of San Pascual and Patrolman Jay-r Cartaciano of San Juan.
They were serenaded with Christmas songs and given groceries and financial assistance. Beneficiaries thanked police for the kind holiday gesture.
“Hindi namin nakakalimutan ang pagbuwis ng buhay ng ating mga kasamahan dahil sa tawag ng tungkulin para sa bayan. Ituring nyo po kaming mga kapamilya at handa po kaming kayo’y aming tulungan sa inyong mga pangangailangan (We won’t forget the ultimate sacrifice of our colleagues in the line of duty. You are part of our family and we are ready to help you in your time of need),” Soliba said.
