205 newly-recruited cops of NCRPO to undergo rigid training

A total of 205 newly-recruited policemen of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will be sent to undergo a rigid training program to prepare them for law enforcement duties.

NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Jonnel Estomo said the Public Safety Basic Recruitment Course (PSBRC) will be for six months.

"Although on a temporary status, these newly appointed patrolmen are now part of the PNP particularly of the NCRPO and will start to earn the same benefits as regular police officer," said Estomo.

The temporary status will only be changed to permanent status after they will pass a rigid disciplinary training that includes NCRPO Orientation Program, militaristic and Field Training Program on patrol, investigation and traffic on-the-job duties.
