Photos of BTS' Jin inside army training camp posted online

BTS member Jin enlisted in the Korean military on Dec. 13 and photos of him inside the boot camp have been published online.

Jin entered the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea on Dec. 13.

He went directly inside the boot camp aboard a vehicle without greeting fans and media due to safety concerns.

Two photos of Jin inside the camp were published. The photos showed Jin participating in a welcome ceremony for recruits.

Jin and other recruits are seen lining up and saluting while wearing thick jackets because of the cold weather. He enlisted under 2 degrees Celsius weather in Yeoncheon.

Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of BTS posted two photos of Jin with the other BTS members on Dec. 13.

He will undergo five weeks of basic military training before being deployed to a frontline unit near the border of South and North Korea.

As an active duty soldier, he will serve for 18 months and will be discharged on June 12, 2024.
