Eight cops awarded for notable accomplishments in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Eight personnel of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera were recognized for their notable accomplishments in a program held at the Masigasig Grandstand inside Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on Monday, Dec. 12.

Deputy Regional Director for Operation Col. Ronald Gayo led the presentation of the awards. He was assisted by Col. Elmer Ragay, chief of regional staff, and other PROCOR Regional Staff.

Medalya ng Kadakilaan (Philippine National Police Heroism Medal) was awarded to Lt. Gerald Bentadan and Pat Ryan Sangoy of Kalinga Police Provincial Office (KPPO) for the conduct of checkpoint operation in Lubuagan, Kalinga that resulted in the arrest of a drug personality on Sept. 29, 2022.

A Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) was awarded to Lt. Col. Ruel Tagel and Jonel Awakan of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) for their relentless efforts that resulted in the arrest of one high-value target on Oct. 1, 2022.

A Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya (PNP Relations Medal) was given to Lt. Col. Vivian Paclibon of Regional Information and Communications Technology Management Division (RICTMD) for her invaluable service rendered in the successful joint outreach program of Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, Women and Children Protection Desk, Regional Information and Communications Technology Management Division, Itogon Municipal Police Station and PROCOR Officer’s Ladies Club (OLC) conducted in Itogon, Benguet on Nov. 25, 2022 in celebration of the 30th National Children’s Month.

The same award was given to Police Corporal 1 Kevin Wayne R Chumacog & Pat. Jona Jane M Dondon of RCADD, and Pat. Polmart Paduyao of RMFB15.
