Guanzon writes congratulatory tweet for Pacquaio

Although Manny Pacquiao won a mere exhibition match in his latest ring outing, P3PWD Party-list nominee still thought that it was proper to give the Filipino ring legend his flowers.

That's why Guanzon took to Twitter to write a congratulatory message for Pacquaio Sunday, Dec. 11 a few hours after the latter beat South Korean martial artist and YouTuber DK Yoo.

"Congratulations, champ Mamny Pacquiao !" the former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner wrote. The tweet came with a nice picture of Guanzon and Pacquaio standing side by side with each other.

The soon-to-be 44 Pacquiao pummeled the physically more imposing Yoo from pillar to post during their six-round exhibition, dropping him several times. The former won via unanimous decision.

The match, which took place in South Korea, was Pacquiao's first since his unsuccessful attempt at vying for the presidency during the May 2022 national polls. He is a former congressman and senator.
