Grade 12 student, minor cohort yield P102,000 shabu in Kalinga drug sting

A Grade 12 student and her 15-year-old cohort were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tabuk City, Kalinga on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Police identified the adult suspect as Maila Daligdig Tayaan, 21.

The two suspects are residents of Rizal, Kalinga.

Suspects were nabbed by the police after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 15 grams with a standard drug price of P102,000 to a poseur-buyer.

An inventory of the evidence was conducted on-site in the presence of the suspects and witnessed by Barangay Kagawad Edwin Hidalgo, Vilma Bolingon, Janette B. Alagao, media representative, and Lailanie Balao-ing, DOJ representative.

Suspects and evidence are in the custody of the police here for documentation and proper disposition.
