Dolly de Leon wins LAFCA Best Supporting Performance award

Dolly de Leon won the Best Supporting Performance award at the 2022 Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards (LAFCA).

The recognition was for her performance in Ruben Östlund’s "Triangle of Sadness."

Note the same role also earned her a best supporting actress nomination at the 2022 Satellite Awards given by the International Press Academy (IPA).

Prior, The New Yorker lauded her performance in “Trinagle Of Sadness” as among Best Performances of 2022.

It described her as “a ferocious force.”

"Of the film’s many shocking twists, the most lingering may be de Leon’s ability to show up out of nowhere and walk away with the entire movie. For my money, she should be at the top of the Best Supporting Actress conversation."
