Andrea Brillantes to play Dyesebel: Ogie Diaz

"Dyesebel," the iconic mermaid created by Mars Ravelo is set to return.

This was revealed by Ogie Diaz in his recent vlog, sharing that a TV show starring Andrea Brillantes is going to be released next year.

He then wished Andrea the best of luck, commenting how the young actress is a good swimmer.

Ogie reiterated that Andrea's mom is a certified diver.

"Actually, 'yung nanay niya diver. Napakahusay sa diving ng nanay niya. Talagang nagpa-practice na si Andrea. Mahusay na siyang sumisid," he added.

Prior, the likes of Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera, Charlene Gonzales, Alma Moreno and Vilma Santos portayed the said character in films and on TV.
