Puma Korea apologizes after NCT 127 members injured during commercial shoot
Puma Korea has issued an apology after four members of K-pop boy band NCT 127 were injured, including three who were rushed to the hospital, during filming for a commercial for the brand.

“Today , Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo were injured when a jungle gym set structure collapsed while filming a commercial,” the agency said.
It added, “Immediately after the injury, they were taken to the hospital for examination and treatment, but a detailed examination is needed. Detailed results will be announced after the thorough examination is over.”
Taeil, another member of NCT 127, was also on the same structure. He slipped and fell but only suffered minor injuries.
"Tae-il expressed his intention to take a rest without going to the hospital because he had no discomfort, so he is resting after returning home," SM Entertainment.
According to Korean media, NCT 127 members fell from a two-meter jungle gym set in a studio in Namyangju in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
In August, Puma announced that it selected NCT 127 as its ambassador for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
In a statement, Puma Korea said, “We would like to inform you of Puma Korea's position regarding the accident that occurred during the NCT 127 commercial filming as follows.”
“Members Johnny, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Taeil suffered an accident due to a set structure problem that occurred while filming a commercial for NCT 127, which is active as a Puma APAC ambassador,” it said.
Puma said that “immediately after the accident, three members, Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo, were taken to a nearby hospital as quickly as possible to receive thorough examinations.”
“As soon as detailed examination results are released, we plan to deliver them as quickly as possible through their agency, SM Entertainment,” it said.
Puma added, “Fortunately, Taeil suffered minor injuries. We respected his wishes and is resting after returning home.”
“Puma Korea feels responsible for this accident, and plans to do its best to identify the cause and prevent a recurrence. We would like to express our apologies for causing concern to the fans who must have been surprised by the news of their beloved artist's accident, as well as to the agency, SM Entertainment,” it said.
The company said, “In addition, Puma Korea will do its best for the treatment and quick recovery of three NCT 127 members Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo, who were injured in this accident, and will help them recover quickly.”
