Aiko Melendez on snobbish celebs

Aiko Melendez recently shared on social media her view on fan-celebrity interaction.

She wrote on Facebook: "Ako kasi kapag me bumabati sa akin o magpapapicture kahit gaano na ako kapagod pinagbibigyan ko."

"Ang rason ko lagi hindi naman naten alam kung first and last encounter mo na dun sa taong yun eh so ung mga simpleng gestures like saying HI! Or pagbigyan ng picture taking ok lang yan," she added.

She noted how it isn't a big deal to begin with.

"Hindi naman kawalan sa pagkatao nyo yan," was how she put it. "Pwera nalang kung Asa ER ka ng hospital at hindi naman tama ang right timing pwede ka tumanggi."

According to Aiko, it's also about the right timing.

"Like sa pagpunta sa mga lamay at patay as much as possible ayaw ko po nagpapapicture sa tabi ng kabaong kasi bilang tanda ng aking respeto yun sa namatay at namatayan kaya dun sa mga nagpapakuha inaaya ko sila sa ibang angle tara dun tayo sa independent space," she related.

She went on to give some advice to fellow celebrities.

"Give credit also to your fans na iniidolo kayo ung simpleng time mo. If you want your fans to respect your private time, I suggest don’t go to public places otherwise hindi mo talaga maiiwasan na me matuwa na nakakakilala syo ang mag hi and hello or papakuha ng picture sa inyo," she pointed out.

"Tandaan Humility! Fame is all temporary but right attitude lasts a lifetime. GOOD AM! Be nice and kind!"

Talk about fan-celeb interaction went viral recently after Kim Atienza reacted to a video of a volleyball team supposedly ignoring some followers.

He said: “What an irritating yet sad sight.”

Meanwhile, Rica Peralejo later shared her perspective on celebrity-fan interaction.
