SPD holds 'Christmas in November' with children in Makati City

About 50 children received gifts during the “Christmas in November” event of the Southern Police District (SPD) held at the Carmona Complex in Barangay Carmona, Makati City on Nov. 26.

District Community Affairs Division under the leadership of Col. Jenny Tecson said the less fortunate children were given gifts containing assorted school supplies, bag of toiletries, loot bag with candies, and five kilos of rice from SPD Squad 33 and 34.

She said the SPD medical team also provided free medical services and distributed free vitamins to all the parents and guardians of children and the Carmona Barangay Council.

SPD director Brig. Gen. Kirby John Brion Kraft said "Christmas in November" is their way of sharing their blessings to others especially the less fortunate children.

“We believe that every child deserves to receive Christmas gifts. I am grateful for your selfless acts of sharing your blessings to these children and making sure that every child in our program feels special. ” Kraft told the SPD Squad 33 and 34.
