QCPD nets 23 drug suspects, seizes over P420,000 worth of 'shabu' in buy-busts

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives arrested 23 drug suspects and seized P421,700 worth of alleged shabu in Quezon City on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and Thursday, Dec. 1.

The suspects were arrested by members of District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) and different police stations in a series of buy-bust operations.

Police said all the suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

QCPD director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III commended his men for their continuous and aggressive anti-illegal drugs and anti-criminality operations.

He also urged the city residents to cooperate with the police if they have any information about illegal activities that are happening in their areas.
