Amid 'stressful airport' tag, 'relaxing' measures implemented at NAIA

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has started major facelifts to improve the image of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) amid recent report that it is one of the most stressful airports in Asia.

As of Thursday, Dec. 1, the Manila Bulletin observed that all security guards at NAIA have new uniform which is similar to the guards of five star hotels.

All of the security guards on the lobby, on the other hand, have no sidearms and are wearing white long sleeves.

MIAA General Manager Cesar Chiong also changed the policy of vehicle inspection going to NAIA to make it a free-flow traffic.
