74 law violators nabbed in weeklong operations in Tarlac

CAMP FRANCISCO S. MACABULOS, Tarlac City – Police arrested 74 law violators during their anti-criminality campaign in Tarlac province from Nov. 21 to Nov. 27.

Col. Erwin O. Sanque, provincial director of Tarlac police, said that 38 of the arrested violators were wanted in the municipal level for the crimes of theft, robbery, qualified theft and other special laws violations.

A total of seventeen plastic sachets containing shabu were confiscated during anti-illegal drug operations which also resulted in the arrest of seven individuals, including a member of Tañedo criminal group.

Fifteen individuals were apprehended for illegal gambling and P20,890 bet money were confiscated.

Two drug suspects were also arrested in buy-bust and search warrant operations against loose firearms while 12 individuals were cornered during police response.
