MicroSourcing, the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines, held ribbon cutting ceremonies on November 3 to officially launch its first career hub and its second service delivery center in Cebu City.

This move is part of MicroSourcing's countryside expansion strategy, in alignment with the  industry’s aspiration to generate 1.1 million new jobs in the next six years, as outlined in the IT-Business Process Management Association of the Philippines’ (IBPAP) Roadmap 2028.

The new service delivery center at the 15th floor of the FLB Cebu Center in Cebu Business Park has 350 production seats. In keeping with Microsourcing’s other facilities, the space is designed to foster both productivity and wellness while supporting a variety of workplace activities. There are collaboration spaces where groups can get together and exchange ideas, a food service pantry, and an entertainment  area where Microsourcing professionals can unwind and have fun. Associates working in-center also have access to sleeping areas and in-house medical services.

MicroSourcing’s Career Hub, on the other hand, is housed on the first floor of the same building. Equipped with a welcoming reception area, interview rooms, and assessment spaces, the Career Hub, while located along a major thoroughfare and easily accessible to walk-ins and commuters, also has the capability to process applications of candidates from all over the country, powered by Microsourcing’s digital and automated recruitment platforms.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, in his address, expressed his gratitude to MicroSourcing for "continuing to help the local economy with growing employment” and assured Microsourcing and Eagleview executives that “they got a friend” in the office of the City Mayor. He was also pleased to learn about Microsourcing’s plan to build more service delivery centers and expand its work-from-home footprint to developing Digital Cities, and offered assistance in his capacity as President of the League of Cities in the Philippines, which has 146 member cities throughout the country.

The opening of the new delivery center proves MicroSourcing's ability to scale and to exceed clients’ expectations. Nagib Nasr, Eagleview Technologies COO shared: “We met with Haidee virtually in the first week of September and asked her if she could get a new site “live” in 30 days with at least 300 professionals hired by November. Haidee, without batting an eye, said ‘Yes, we can do it!’ On October 1, we started our operations, 2 days ahead of schedule." Nasr also complimented the way Microsourcing works and partners with various community stakeholders.

Christian Malubag, Microsourcing’s Vice President of Client Experience, further shared: “While we have enabled flexible working arrangements in all our sites already, we want to make sure that our professionals who report in-center do so in an environment where they can do productive work and enjoy face-to-face interactions with their colleagues and their clients. We are proud to host Eagleview Technologies in this location; this account has the lowest attrition and the highest associate engagement rating amongst our hundreds of clients. Case in point, 80% of our hires for this service delivery center were referrals of existing associates”.

For her part, Haidee Enriquez, CEO of Microsourcing, expressed her gratitude to the Eagleview Technologies’ executives, represented in the Philippines by their Director of Offshore Operations, Luke Loeffler, “for your continuing trust in Microsourcing and the Filipino talents, and in helping us drive inclusive growth through our countryside expansion efforts”. Enriquez also lauded the efforts of the industry and business champions of the city in helping MicroSourcing deliver on its commitments.

The hallmark event, attended by MicroSourcing executives, government officials, and partners from the business and private sectors, was made even more festive with its Sinulog theme, with special performances by the Cebu-based Sugbo Performing Group. Microsourcing, staying true to its commitment to making a positive impact, partnered with Liwayway.PH for the event tokens. Liwayway’s luxurious, stylish items showcase Filipino artisans and their artistry, and proceeds from their products contribute to self-funded programs defending Filipino children’s rights.
