The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has refuted reports that its application forms for social services are for sale.

In a statement, the OVP said the public assistance application forms are for “free” and must “solely be used by the clients requesting for such services.”
Available in OVP’s central and satellite offices, the application forms are used to document client profiles applying for Medical and Burial Assistance Program (MABP).
Medical and burial assistance are among the social services that have been mostly requested by marginalized Filipinos from the OVP.
As of Dec. 2, the assistance program has already benefited 19,910 indigent Filipinos with aid amounting of P179.59 million.
However, the OVP said it has been receiving reports from several individuals on the sale of public assistance application forms.
The OVP has seven existing satellite offices in Bacolod, Surigao del Sur, Cebu, Davao, Tacloban, Dagupan, and Zamboanga.
Its central office is housed at the Robinsons Cybergate Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
