The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Dec. 6, announced that 1,186 out of 1,981 examinees passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 241 out of 484 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination conducted last Dec. 1 and 2.
PRC hailed Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila as the top-performing school for the Physical Therapist board exam with an overall passing rate of 95.88 percent.
Khio Jerick Donguines Jumarang from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center is the exam's topnotcher, PRC advised.
He garnered a rating of 89.30 percent.
Meanwhile, PRC said that the University of the Philippines - Manila is the only top-performing school for the Occupational Therapist exam with all 30 examinees passing the board.
Lindy Zalan Jimenez Aviles from Velez College and Kym Rodrillo Sambo from Angeles University Foundation are the exam's topnotchers with a score of 83.60 percent, said PRC.
The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony are yet to be advised.
The exam was given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Pampanga.
"On January 9 - 13, January 16 - 20 and January 23 - 27, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," PRC noted.
