Actress and social media influencer Ivana Alawi has revealed that she's conscious about health drinks, saying that she only takes juice that's organic and natural.

"Hindi ako health-conscious sa kinakain ko kasi ayoko ipagdamot yung kasiyahan ko sa pagkain. Pero conscious ako sa iniinom ko. And dapat yung product na iniinom ko is organic and natural. Yun ang hinahanap ko sa juice," said Ivana, who was introduced as the newest endorser of MaxiJuice health drink held at the Newport World Resorts in Paranaque City recently.

(I'm not health-conscious about what I eat because I don't want to spoil my enjoyment of food. But I'm conscious about what I drink. And the product I drink must be organic and natural. That's what I look for in juice.)

Ivana, 25, also said that she does not workout and goes on a diet.

Asked how she accepts endorsements related to food and health, Ivana said that she samples the products for several months to see its effect on her and her family.

"I try the product and I let my family try the product also. So I tested these products for several months and it was effective. Importante talaga sa akin na i-try nila. Na-feel ko talaga yung weight loss. At nakaka-energize siya," she said. (It's really important to me that they try. I really felt the weight loss. And it's energizing.)

The product has been in the market for five years now but it is only now that Ivana was being introduced as its endorser.

Patricio Jugueta, President and CEO of Maximum 88 Corporation, said that the company started to communicate with Ivana for her endorsement more than two years ago but it stopped due to the pandemic. So it is only now that her endorsement was finalized. MaxiJuice contains buah merah, guyabano, acai berry, hibiscus, and barley.

"Sobrang grateful (so grateful) that I was chosen to be their endorser," said Ivana when asked how she felt about her latest endorsement. Other officials who welcomed Ivana to the Maximum 88 Corporation were VP and CMO Mark Anthony Dapiton and co-founder and CTO Willis Chavez.

Ivana also said that she will recommend the juice to her friends who stay awake all night. "Yung mga kaibigan ko na nagpupuyat malamang sila ang bibigyan ko." (My friends who are staying up late are probably the ones I'll give it to.)

The Filipino-Moroccan star also said that she's excited to celebrate her birthday on Christmas Day.

"Puro eat and work lang ako sa birthday ko," said Ivana, star of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Partners In Crime" with Vice Ganda. (I just eat and work on my birthday.)

Ivana also revealed her birthday wish. She said: "Sana matapos na itong pandemic para makabalik na tayo sa normal na buhay natin at maging masaya tayong lahat."

(I hope this pandemic is over so we can return to our normal lives and we can all be happy.)

Despite doing TV and movie projects, Ivana said that she will not leave vlogging where she really became popular.

"Importante sa akin ang mga viewers na masaya sila sa aking mga content. Iba rin kasi sa vlog eh. Sa vlog you get to be yourself while in the movies, you portray other characters. At saka I love helping people at nagagawa ko siya through my vlog," added Ivana.

(It's important to me that the viewers are happy with my content. It's also different from vlogs. In vlogs you get to be yourself while in the movies, you portray other characters. Also, I love helping people and I can do that through my vlog.)
