CAMP Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Almost all policemen in Region 2 or Cagayan Valley have been inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccine.
Col. Jonard de Guzman, chief of the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 2, said 99.93 percent or 14,703 police personnel in the region have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
De Guzman, speaking at the Police Regional Office 2 Monday flag-raising ceremony where he was the guest of honor and speaker, said that the PRO2's percentage compliance with the Covid-19 vaccine is high.
With this, he said, each PRO-2 member is protected against the virus.
Aside from vaccines against Covid-19, the RMDU2 Health Service continues to provide free dentures, free vaccines against typhoid fever, annual physical examinations, and free vitamin to police officers.
