MB Daily News Update: PBBM welcomes kids to Malacañang


President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. welcomed a large group of children, distributing gift-bags and even joining them in some parlor games, to Malacañang at the launch of the government’s national gift-giving event.

The second Bicameral Conference Committee meeting between the Senate and House of Representatives to approve the P5.268-trillion 2023 national budget has been set, moving it closer to approval by President Marcos.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Customs (BOC) raided a warehouse in Binondo, Manila, that resulted in the seizure of P1.9 million worth of white onions.

Rain showers are expected across the Philippines due to easterlies, according to the state weather agency.
