The three-day special vaccination program strives for Marikeño kids to complete their primary Covid-19 vaccinations, as well as to mitigate the risks of a potential surge in cases during the holiday season.

The local government said it "encourage the parents and guardians of the pediatrics five to 11 years old to get their children vaccinated as preparation for the upcoming Christmas and New Year season, and for their face-to-face classes."

The available vaccines offered during these dates are the first and second dose of Pfizer.

It will be held at the Marikina Sports Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Individuals who will take part in the program are asked to bring a copy of the minor aged child's birth certificate, and a valid ID of the parent or legal guardian.

Children with commorbidities must bring their medical certificate signed by their doctor at the vaccination site.

The second dose for five to 11 year olds will only be given to those who were inoculated with the first dose in Marikina City.

The "Bakunahang Bayan" will run simultaneously with the regular vaccination schedules set for the general public.
