Match is at 2:30 p.m. with the Angels seeking to tighten their grip of the third spot and improve their 3-1 record.

Akari and PLDT also collide at 5:30 p.m. with both teams also aiming to keep their semis campaign alive.

The Chargers are coming off a morale-boosting five-set victory over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans last week to hike their tally to 2-4 while the High Speed Hitters are trying to bounce back from a four-set loss to the Angels over the weekend that put them at 1-4.

Petro Gazz is all fired up for another victory to inch closer to joining early semifinalists Creamline and Chery Tiggo with reinforcement Lindsey Vander Weide leading the charge along with locals Myla Pablo, Grethcel Soltones and MJ Phillips.

But Cignal, which totes a 2-2 mark at sixth, hopes its recent straight-set win over United Auctioneers-Army last Thursday would continue to fuel its bid.

Cignal coach Shaq Delos Santos pins his hopes on import Tai Bierria along with Rachel Anne Daquis, Ces Molina and Ria Meneses.

Equally exciting is the Akari-PLDT duel, with the Chargers leaning on import Prisilla Rivera following her historic 44-point output against the Flying Titans.

Out to give a helping hand are Janine Marciano and Erika Raagas, who finished with a combined 30 points the last time.

Elena Samoilenko, meanwhile, will continue to serve as PLDT’s go-to player but needs the help of her teammates to regain their bearings.
