
A total of 1,241 new Covid-19 cases were logged on Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
Latest data showed that the National Capital Region (NCR) still recorded the most cases in the last 14 days with 3,005.
Calabarzon came next with 1,856, followed by Western Visayas with 1,370, Central Luzon with 991, and Davao Region with 902.
The new cases brought the country's cumulative tally of cases to 4,102,868. Of this figure, 15,986 are still battling with Covid-19.
Out of the total number of cases, 3,932,557 patients were able to recover from Covid-19. However, 64,322 people were not able to survive.
The country's healthcare utilization rate is still at a low-risk classification. The DOH data showed that only 24.9 percent of hospital beds for Covid-19 patients are currently occupied.
