Motorcycle thief arrested in Tarlac City


CAMP FRANCISCO S. MACABULOS, Tarlac City – A 22-year-old man was arrested by the police during follow-up operation hours after stealing a motorcycle in Brgy. Matatalaib in this city on Monday, Nov. 7.

Lt. Col. Jim F. Helario, Chief of Tarlac City Philippine National Police, identified the suspect as Rolando Ariola, a resident of Sitio Paulo II, Barangay Matatalaib.

Lt. Col. Helario said the victim parked his Suzuki Raider motorcycle outside Matatalaib High School at about 11:00 a.m. but found it missing a few minutes later.

The victim readily reported his missing motorcycle to the Tarlac City police station which then conducted a follow-up operation that resulted in the quick arrest of the suspect.

The stolen motorcycle was recovered in Sitio Suba of the same barangay.

The suspect is now under the custody of Tarlac City PS for proper disposition.
