A total of 19 suspects were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drugs and anti-criminality operations in several towns of Bulacan province on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 8 and 9.
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the arrested drug suspect as a certain Jr Lugtu of the said village
Confiscated from him were six sachets of suspected shabu worth P170,000 with a total weight of around 25 grams.
Eight other drug suspects were also arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations in Calumpit, Obando, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), and Sta. Maria on Wednesday, Nov 9.
Recovered from them were a total of 37 sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
Nine more persons wanted by law were also arrested by the police in different manhunt operations in Bustos, Norzagaray, Plaridel, CSJDM, and Sta. Maria.
They were charged for qualified theft, light threat, estafa, theft, unjust vexation, slight physical injuries, attempted homicide, reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property; and for violation of RA 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act).
The accused are presently under the custody of the arresting units or police stations.
