Bar-takers get last-minute pep talk from Cong Rufus


The House of Representatives' resident legal luminary, Cagayan de Oro 2nd district Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, gave a heartfelt message to aspiring lawyers on the first day of the bar examinations Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The lawyer-solon took to his Facebook Wednesday morning and wrote, "Best of luck to all law students who will be taking the bar examinations beginning today, Nov. 9."


"May you become an inspiration to the youth by upholding the constitution, championing the rule of law, and protecting the welfare of the Filipino people," Rodriguez said.

To further boost the bar-takers' confidence, the Mindanaoan capped his post by saying, "Kudos, my future compañeros and compañeras! "

Rodriguez, a veteran in the lower chamber, is the chairman of the House Committee on Constitutional Amendments.
