Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach couldn't be happier that she has found another significant activity that would excite her after pageantry.

On Instagram, Pia said that she's ready to participate for the first time in the popular marathon in New York.

The actress-beauty queen revealed that after pageantry, she was looking for something that would get her excited as much as Miss Universe did.

"I kept looking & trying new things but couldn’t find that feeling again…until now," she said.

Pia noted that as a first-time marathoner, she's so ecstatic to "see, feel, taste" the spirit of the iconic annual New York City Marathon.

More than anything, she is so happy that she gets to share the moment with her fiance' Jeremy Jauncey.

"Since he was the first person to know that this was a secret dream of mine," she said.

Pia said that she actually kept it to herself for so long because she was "embarrassed" or "insecure" about her athletic capabilities.

"Imagine saying 'I want to run a marathon' when you don't even run 10 minutes on a treadmill," she said. "Nahiya ako."

"But I wanted it! I had the vision in my head I just needed to make it into reality…and now here we are. Sobrang lapit na and I’m actually really doing it!!"

Recall that Pia has been training for it since late February this year. The 26.2-mile race through all five boroughs of New York City will be held today, Nov. 6.
