In an interview with local journalists Friday afternoon, Nov. 4 in his home district, Rep. Marcos was asked on how President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has been doing.

"OK naman (He's OK), stressed," the neophyte congressman said, eliciting laughter from the reporters.

"Paano niya hina-handle yung stress dahil sa dami ng problema? (How does he handle stress caused by the sheer number of problems?)" a reporter asked Rep. Marcos about the Chief Executive.

As the younger Marcos looked down to think of answer, another reporter asked, " firing?"

"Yeah, kapag may oras siya. Yan ang...firing. Yan ang ginagawa niyang pang-stress reliever (Yeah, if he has the time. That's...firing. That's what he does to relieve stress)," the solon quickly replied.

"I think he tries to find one hour every other week, naghahanap siya ng oras para konting stress-relief naman (he finds the time to have a bit of stress-relief). So yan yung kanyang parang, pang-ano--pang-break sa trabaho (So that's his break from work)," Rep. Marcos added.

However, Rep. Marcos neither mentioned what the President actually fires, nor where he does the activity.

"But in any case, he's doing OK. Medyo, like I said, stressed lang sa mga problema na hinaharap ng ating mga kababayan (Like I said, he's just a bit stressed from the problems that our countrymen are facing)," he noted.

Rep. Marcos is the senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives. His father used to be Ilocos Norte governor.
