Marcos skips KADIWA ng Pasko launch, hopes program will benefit Filipinos this Christmas
Despite not being present during its launch, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. hoped the KADIWA ng Pasko program would benefit Filipinos, especially with the coming holiday season.

Marcos said this in a video message during the program launch in the City of Manila on Saturday morning, November 5.
The KADIWA ng Pasko program aims to promote and market the agri-fishery products of local farmers and fishers to help increase their income.
The President was supposed to lead the launch but did not attend the program. Malacañang is yet to state why Marcos skipped the event.
In his video message, Marcos thanked the sellers who participated in the event.
"Maraming maraming salamat at kayo ay nakilahok dito sa aming bagong programa (Thank you very much for participating in our new program)," he said.
"Sana, 'pagka ito ay lumawak at dumami, ay makakatulong sa taumbayan lalong-lalo na at papasok na tayo ng Pasko kaya't ang tulong ninyo ay napakahalaga (I hope that if this grows, we could help the people especially since Christmas is coming so your cooperation is vital)," he added.
The Department of Agriculture (DA) invited 13 farmers and fisherfolk cooperatives from different regions to sell vegetables, fruits, fish, eggs, rice, and dairy products.
Marcos is the concurrent Agriculture Secretary.
Meanwhile, the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) invited micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to sell canned goods, cheese, bread, and other necessities.
