Voter’s registration in Pangasinan resumes Dec. 12

The Commission on Elections has announced that voter’s registration in Pangasinan will resume on Dec. 12.

Marino Salas, Comelec provincial election supervisor, encouraged those failed to register in July to enlist until Jan. 31.

Salas said residents aged 15 and above are qualified to register. He said they must bring their birth certificate or any valid ID for verification of their identity.

He added that the Comelec is eyeing to team-up with selected malls in the province for the voter’s registration this holiday season.

Salas also said Comelec will conduct the pilot testing of the Register Anywhere Project (RAP) in selected malls in Metro Manila.

Under the project, Salas said residents of Pangasinan who wish to register but are in Metro Manila may proceed to designated pilot areas to list up.
