PDEA agents nab 3 people in Negros Oriental buy-bust

Anti-narcotics authorities dismantled a drug den on Wednesday, Nov. 30, following the arrest of three drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said 41-year old Danny Tanilon was arrested at around 11:30 a.m., together with his visitors Marde Lomoljo, 39; and Orlando Esplago, 40, construction worker in Barangay Poblacion.

Acting on the information from an asset, the anti-narcotics authorities immediately planned the operation where Tanilon was immediately collared after selling shabu to an undercover agent.

Authorities seized seven grams of shabu valued at P47,600; plastic sachets with shabu residue; buy-bust money; weighing scaleSec 6. Maintenance of a Den, Dive or Resort Den, Dive or Resort; cash in various denominations; two coin purses and various drug paraphernalia.

“The pieces of drug evidence have been submitted for chemical analysis,’’ PDEA said in a statement.

“Dismantling of drug dens is considered a high-impact operation as drug dens are breeding ground for violence and criminality and disrupt peace and order in the community,’’ it added. (Chito A. Chavez)
