Love triangle eyed in murder of 2 women in Quezon

TIAONG, Quezon – Police are looking at love triangle as the motive in the killing of two women with live-in partners in Sitio Laluses, Barangay Talisay, here on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Police identified the victims as Jessica Prado Tambado, 28, a resident of Sitio Laluses, and Lani Sanchez Caya, 26, of SitioVilla, Barangay San Juan, this town.

Investigation showed that the victims were inside the rented house of Tambado when two men arrived and shot them for apparent reason. The victims sustained multiple bullet wounds that killed them on the spot.

The gunmen fled on board in a white sedan towards the direction of San Pablo City, Laguna.

Probers have interviewed witnesses near the crime scene and conducted a follow-up operation for the identification of a person of interest. They are also reviewing surveillance footage on the escape route of the suspects.
