That's one of the goals of Senior Deputy Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos in the near future, based on what he told the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) during an event of the organization last month.

"With regards to myself as the representative of the 1st district of Ilocos Norte, I think and I solely believe that there needs to be more cooperation and more integration between the House of Representatives and the ," said Marcos, who served as guest speaker during the event.

"There doesn't seem to be enough integration between the councilors and the congressmen," the 28-year-old noted.

As such, he vowed to coordinate with the leaderships of both the House and PCL "to ensure that there will be a more symbiotic relationship".

"So I will be talking to Speaker Romualdez, I will be talking to President Andy , to make sure that, hopefully in the future, we can find ways to work together, we can find ways to have more symbiotic relationship," said the presidential son.

Romualdez, who represents Leyte's 1st district, is Marcos's uncle and mentor.

As for Lao, Marcos had this to say as he addressed the PCL members: "You will be in good hands, the leadership is in good hands."
