The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) has started the assessment of the status of on-going irrigation projects nationwide.
NIA Administrator Benny Antiporda said the activity was aimed at addressing challenges, problems, and issues during project implementations, as well as to discuss the current status of the implementation of the bureau's Integrated Management System (IMS).
"These were discussed to ensure the continuous improvement on the delivery of irrigation services to the Filipino farmers," said Antiporda.
Present were NIA Senior Deputy Administrator Eryl Nagtalon, Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector C’zar Sulaik, Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector Ralph Du, Central Office Department/Divisions Managers, and Regional/Project/IMO Managers of Field Offices nationwide. Other officials from the NIA Field Offices were also present virtually.
